Philip Bardon

Co-President

Philip Bardon is a second-year applied math student. Last year, he was a Portfolio Manager at the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program and the Co-CEO of the largest student-run business on campus. Over the summer, he interned at Certares Management, a private equity firm that has notable investments in Amex GBT, Hertz, and TripAdvisor.

Ali Alomari

Co-President

Ali Alomari is a third-year economics student at Columbia College. In addition to serving as Co-President of the Columbia chapter of PNG, Ali is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Columbia Alpha Partners, and the Columbia College Student Council. He has a variety of experiences within the financial industry, previously interning with Weichert, Realtors, and Aflac.

Colby Cox

Senior Vice President

Colby Cox is a second-year computer science student. In addition to serving on the Columbia PNG board, he is a member of Blockchain at Columbia, where he serves on the External Governance Team for Decentralized Finance. Prior to returning to academia, he worked full time as a Consultant on Core Business Operations in the Government & Public Services practice at Deloitte. He also served in the U.S. Air Force in Cyber and Intelligence roles at Langley.

Robert Stankard

Executive Committee

Robbie Stankard is a third-year student pursuing a joint degree in Economics and Mathematics. Beyond his involvement in PNG, Robbie serves on the Executive Board of the Columbia Economics Society and is a student ambassador for the Columbia Athletics Finance Society. He also plays power-forward for the Columbia Men's basketball team. Robbie spent his sophomore summer at Goldman Sachs in their FICC & Equities Division, where he is returning next year as a summer analyst on the Equity Derivative Sales team.

Harrison Wang

Head of Quantitative Research

Harrison is a fourth-year Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics major. At Columbia, he is involved with education in both Columbia Quant Group and Columbia Alpha Partners, and in his free time, he enjoys playing poker and basketball. This past summer, he interned at Arrowstreet Capital as a Quantitative Research intern.

Nischal Chennuru

Co-Chair of the Investment Committee

Nischal Chennuru is a third year computer science and economics student in the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science. Apart from being on the board of the Columbia chapter of PNG, he is a member of the CU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club. He has experience in growth equity from his internship at Technology Crossover Ventures as well as in private equity, project finance, and public and private debt investing from his internship at Tikehau Capital. In his free time he enjoys kickboxing and jiu jitsu. He will be interning at Deutsche Bank New York next summer in the Investment Banking division.

Matthew Weng

Co-Chair of the Investment Committee

Matthew Weng is a third-year student studying Financial Economics and Computer Science. Beyond PNG, Matthew is a director in the Global Markets Division of Columbia Alpha Partners and serves on the executive board of Columbia Quant Group. He has previously interned as an investment analyst at CE Innovation Capital, a mid-cap growth and VC fund where he covered emerging financial technology firms. He also worked for a leading EV charging solutions provider as a part of their CFO advisory and finance research team.

Kaiji Uno

Quantitative Research Committee

Kaiji Uno is a third-year student at Columbia College majoring in mathematics. Last summer, Kaiji interned as a Quantitative Researcher at Morgan Stanley, and he also has internship experience at Accenture and the U.S. Department of Defense. Apart from PNG, he is also involved in Columbia Alpha Partners and Columbia University Orchestra. In his free time, he enjoys playing the cello and watching Japanese comedy.

Stefan Wu

Investment Committee Representative

Stefan Wu is a graduate student in Business Analytics. He's also pursuing a Master of Finance degree at Tsinghua University. He will be joining Aegon-Industrial Fund as a full-time Equity Research Analyst in China. His internship experience includes Equity Research at E Fund, China Asset Management, and Macro Research at Bridgewater China.

Olivia Stevens

Portfolio Manager

Olivia Stevens is a third-year, combined plan student pursuing two degrees, one in Economics and one in Engineering management systems. Apart from her participation in PNG, she is part of the Columbia Economic Review in their operations committee. She has earned internships at financial institutions like Oaktree Capital Management, JPMorgan Asset Management, and will be interning at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as part of their Fixed Income Team next summer.

Kenny Zhu

Portfolio Manager

Kenny Zhu is a third-year studying financial economics and political science. In addition to serving as a PM of PNG, he is a co-founder of Money Talks, a financial literacy education initiative, and the president of Columbia Lion Dance. He has earned internships at J.P. Morgan Chase, Cartesian Capital, and the First National Bank of Omaha

Emma Liu

Portfolio Manager

Emma Liu is a third-year majoring in Economics-Math and concentrating in Physics. On campus, she is also the Podcast Lead for Columbia Economic Review (CER) and VP Initiatives for the Columbia Women's Alliance in Venture and Equity (CWAVE). She previously interned on the Public Equities team at Neuberger Berman, covering cyclical industries like Oil Freight and F&B

Anupam Bhakta

Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Anupam (Anu) Bhakta is a junior at Columbia University where he is double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is currently doing research in robust nonlinear trajectory optimization with a professor at Columbia University. In the past, he has also done research in applied statistics and machine learning with professors from Baruch College and Caltech. In industry, Anu has done a quantitative research internship at Dimensional Fund Advisors. As he enjoys the problem-solving involved with mathematics, he plans to continue to do research in one form or another.

Tony Chen

Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Tony Chen is a third-year computer science student. He is also a member of Columbia Alpha Partners. He has worked as research intern at Voloridge Investment Management. He also worked on various research projects at Columbia in machine learning areas like spoken language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.

Ismail Omar

Quantitative Portfolio Manager

Ismail Omar is a third-year Math and Computer Science student at Columbia University. He is head of the Global Markets Division of Columbia Alpha Partners. A preprofessional club focused on recruitment for careers in finance. Ismail has done trading internships at HSBC and will be returning next summer to continue working in trading. He enjoys working on challenging problems and applying mathematics to produce solutions.

William Vietor

Quantitative Portfolio Manager

William Vietor is a third-year at Columbia University double majoring in in physics and data science. In addition to his portfolio manager role at PNG, he is an active member of Lion Fund Capital Management and of Columbia Quant Group, and he works part-time at Newtyn Management, a long/short hedge fund based in NYC with ~$300 million AUM. This past summer, he interned as a quantitative researcher and trader at Capula Investment Management on the systematic team.
